The Fresh Stabilizer is nothing more than GSE (Grape Seed Extract). This item is provided and used by many sprouters to assist in stopping any potential mold growth during the sprouting process. The Stabilizer (GSE) is mixed 8cc's to One Gallon of pure water and then stored in a dark cool location. The water may cloud a bit during storage but it is nothing to be concerned with. This mixture is your soak water for the sprouts.

TO SPROUT

• Place the sprout mixture in the jar and screw the sprouting lid on so it is secure
• Rinse the sprouts by filling the jar and then draining - you will want to do this several times until the fines are rinsed out of the mix and the water is running clear - drain well
• Cover the rinsed sprout mix with the pre-mixed Stabilizer (GSE) water - normally you will want to cover the sprout mix with double the water as the sprouts will expand and soak up some water - and this will ensure that you are not going to have dry sprouts
• Soak for 8 - 12 hours
• Drain well and place in a bowl or in the sprout tower so that the draining continues. If you are available to rinse periodically throughout the day this will help as well - rinse and let drain.
• Shake gently or turn the jar periodically so that the air circulation continues and enhances the sprouting process
• Approximately 12 - 18 hours after you have drained the sprout mix, you will start to see tiny sprouts appear. It is now ready to feed to your birds! Any leftover sprout mix that you have not fed can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, however we recommend you rinse them periodically even when stored in the refrigerator to keep them from drying out or becoming bitter. We advise you to use the sprouts up within 24 hours to give your birds the most benefit - as the sprouts continue to grow they will tend to become bitter and they are less likely to be eaten - it is best to feed them when they are just beginning to germinate or show signs of sprouts appearing.

You will want to start one new jar each morning or evening depending on your schedule - this way you always have one jar soaking, one jar in the sprouting process, and one jar ready to feed thus ensuring that your birds will always have Fresh Sprouts on a daily basis!
